(P109) BSIP Pokesdown and Southbourne

BCP Council is proposing to make changes to parking restrictions to facilitate improved flow of traffic for all road users on the section of bus network linking Pokesdown and Southbourne, as part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP)(External link) project. The proposals aim to reduce congestion, reduce bus journey times, and improve reliability of services.

You can view the proposals and make comments on an interactive map on Traffweb(External link). Click on 'Schemes' and choose '2025 BSIP Pokesdown and Southbourne (P109)'. You can then click on:

• 'View scheme extents' to view all proposed changes
• an individual restriction on the map to comment on that specific item
• 'Send a comment' to give a general comment on the whole scheme
