The Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre was opened in 2014 to celebrate the Headland's archaeology, geology, and wildlife and to bring people closer to local heritage.
Hengistbury Head attracts over 1 million visitors yearly, and the Visitor Centre and its volunteers are vital in informing people about the sensitive nature of the Headland and how we best can best look after it.
We asked our Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre volunteers for their perspective on the different aspects of the Visitor Centre, what we are doing well and what we could improve on.
We are applying for Accredited Museum status for the Visitor Centre, which will show that we meet nationally agreed standards of good practice. This survey will enable us to assess our current performance and to plan and develop our services.
This survey is now closed.
