Local Transport Plan 4
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Local Transport Plan 4 (LTP4) consultation.
The consultation has now closed and we’re carefully reviewing all the feedback received. Your views are incredibly valuable and will help shape the final version of the plan, which we expect to publish next spring. Once the consultation reports are ready, you’ll be able to view them here.
Help Shape the Future of Transport in Dorset and Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole
We’re working together with Dorset Council to develop our new joint Local Transport Plan (LTP4) - a long-term strategy that will guide transport improvements across the region for the next 15 years.
This plan will replace the current LTP3, which ends in 2026, and we want your views to help shape it.
Phases
Draft Strategy Preparation
Your valuable feedback helped shape future Dorset transport plan
The feedback we gathered in early 2024 - from roadshows, surveys, and written responses - has helped shape the new draft Local Transport Plan (LTP). This plan sets out a vision for how transport and travel could improve across the county.
We’ll be asking for your views again in late summer or early autumn 2025, when we share the draft strategy and implementation plan.
Once the plan is adopted by the councils in spring 2026, it will help us secure national funding to make the improvements happen.
