Library Service consultation
In May - June 2024 we asked BCP residents, library users, children and young people to tell us about their current and future needs from our library service. This insight alongside other information that we hold about out communities and how people use the library will be used to write a draft library strategy for BCP Council.

We had 2710 responses to an open survey
We had 1068 responses to a sample survey
We ran two surveys for children and young people, one aimed at children from birth to school year 4 (278 responses), and a young persons survey aimed at respondents in school years 5 to 13 (208 responses).
We had 149 responses from people who used the home library service.
