We asked for residents, organisations and businesses to tell us their priorities for council services and have their say in our budget survey 2025/26.

BCP Council, like all other local authorities, is operating within an extremely challenging financial environment. The surge in demand for our services continues to grow and the funding we have available to provide these services has simply not kept up with this demand. Council Tax rates, for example, have not kept up with inflation. Please read the information document to find out more about the council's financial situation, what we have done so far to save money and which services we spend the most and least on.
