20 MPH Neighbourhood: Winton and surrounding areas

In March and April 2025 we shared our proposal to introduce 20mph speed limits in Winton and surrounding areas. We asked people who live, work, shop, travel to school, visit and travel through the area for their views on our proposal.

We conducted an online and paper survey asking for views, as well as a residents survey and face to face survey. We held two drop in events at Winton library for people to come and look at the proposals and ask questions.

The map below shows the number of injury collisions reported to the police over a 5 year period 2019-2023.
