Use as a Wedding venue

As a Wedding venue it can generate the serious income required for development and maintenance. The house is easily accessible from the main road and has beautiful views from the house down to the lake.

I have done the tour round the house and its own story is not that interesting. The house cannot be considered on a par with National Trust properties as the owners are not well known and the house lacks interesting furnishings and furniture and art.

using the house as a wedding venue or hiring it for other functions would generate the income needed to subsidize keeping the park open to the community for recreation and wildlife.
