Improving engagement with our community groups and associations
BCP Council is committed to improving its engagement with community groups and associations. As part of this commitment we would like to make sure we have an updated list of community groups and associations within the BCP Council area.
We'd like to hear from all community groups from residents associations through to specialist interest groups within the BCP Council area.
Would you like to be kept informed about the latest consultation? Would you like to hear about funding opportunities appropriate to your community group or associations
Community Action Network Have you heard of the Community Action Network? Community Action Network (CAN) was formed in 2019 from the merger of Poole Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) and Bournemouth CVS, these charities had a rich history going back over 50 years, and form the foundations of our work today. Any charity, voluntary group, community organisation or public sector service working for the good of the local community can join for free – and our members are the heart of everything we do. You can find out more information and join the network here(External link)
