This consultation is now closed and we are analysing the results
Please tell us your priorities for council services and have your say in our budget survey 2025/26. Your views will help shape the budget for the next three financial years.
BCP Council, like all other local authorities, is operating within an extremely challenging financial environment. The surge in demand for our services continues to grow and the funding we have available to provide these services has simply not kept up with this demand. Council Tax rates, for example, have not kept up with inflation. Please read the information document to find out more about the council's financial situation, what we have done so far to save money and which services we spend the most and least on.
We are asking you to imagine that you have to set the council's budget for the next few years, which services would you want to spend more on? and which services do you think could be reduced? Here you can see how we currently spend our money.
The views you give us now will help inform our budget setting process for the next three financial years.
The consultation will close at 11:59pm on Friday 29 November 2024.
