BCP homes - our commitment to our communities, 2021-2026 consultation
Consultation has concluded
Residents and stakeholders are invited to share their views about how housing is delivered across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole for the future.
The Council will write a strategy that looks at the delivery of housing services for the next five years. We have created an issues and opportunities paper with our proposed vision:
To provide a safe, secure and sustainable home where it is needed and thereby enabling people the opportunity to live well’.
The draft strategy is underpinned by 5 Priorities:
- Meeting future growth needs (through delivery of more appropriate homes)
- Preventing homelessness and rough sleeping
- Improving housing options, opportunities and choice for all
- Empowering and co-creating neighbourhoods where residents wish to live in and be part of the community
- Improve safety and sustainability across all housing in the BCP area
Each of these priorities have key opportunities that are proposed for their successful delivery.
Have your say
Please take a look at the issues and opportunities paper or you can read extracts about each of the priorities and the opportunities that they present. These can be found under the documents section to the right of this page.
Please complete our survey to tell us:
- If you think the right issues and opportunities have been identified?
- Is there anything missing?
- What would be your top three priorities?
As well as completing the survey you could also tell us your housing ideas by using our ideas wall below.
The deadline for responses is midnight on 21 May 2021
