This consultation asked for your views on 11 key actions in the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) which was developed by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP) in partnership with its local bus service operators and published on 31 October 2021.
The BSIP sets out what bus services currently offer residents and visitors in the BCP area as well as proposals for improvement.
Have Your Say
To take part in this consultation we asked respondents to:
Give us their views by completing the online survey by midnight on 7 January 2022. They could also collect a paper copy of the survey from one of BCP Council's libraries
Submit any further ideas you have on the Ideas Board below
The next stage is to finalise the Enhanced Partnership Plan (EP Plan) and the Enhanced Partnership Scheme (EP Scheme). A further short consultation will be undertaken with statutory consultees on the drafted Enhanced Partnership Plan and Scheme prior to the final decision on the ‘making’ of the Enhanced Partnership (EP) Plan and EP Scheme.
The outcomes from our local consultation were included in the Enhanced Partnership Plan and the content of the partnership enabled BCP Council to be one of 31 Local Transport Authorities awarded funding from the Government. As a result of the consultation we have confidence that improvements provided, due to receiving this funding will be supported by local residents. The comments received as part of the consultation also helped our local bus operators with service delivery.
You can read the full findings in the consultation report here.
